AR9 “Little Bird” 

The MTR Defense DR9 AR9 “Little Bird” features a 16" chrome moly steel barrel. Chambered in 9mm, medium profile, with a 1/10 twist. The barrel is black nitride treated and threaded 1/2x28. Samson MFG makes the 15” light weight MLOK hand-guard for us right here in the USA and last but not least a Strike Industries 1/2x28 Mini King Comp. Our billet 7075-T6 upper and lower receiver set is type III Class 2 hard coat anodized black for superior durability. Our receiver sets are made for us right here in the USA. The Little Bird comes with a 8620 Single Piece BCG which functions with all AR15 Style PCC Systems Including Glock Style Magazines and Colt Style Magazines. Meticulous machining and attention to detail ensures perfect fit and function in your rifle. To ensure long-term reliability and corrosion resistance, finished by H&M an industry leader in firearms finishing. Their Blacknitride+™ finish delivers the utmost durability and is 100% American Made! We bench test every fire control group while our rifles are being assemble to ensure smooth trigger reset for increased accuracy. The ergonomic pistol grip and commercial butt stock compliment look, feel, and function. We torque everything to specs and hand stake the buffer tube castle nut ensuring it doesn’t walk under normal operating conditions.
